Looking for an effective
diaper rash remedy?

When they're in pain, you want a diaper rash remedy to work fast!

The most common look is "red and irritated" but it can also look puffy and be tender when touched or can be bright red and bleeding.

My son was bleeding once and I was crying right along with him.

There is usually no need to call your doctor and can be treated with an over the counter remedy unless the area looks infected with blisters or oozing sores. Another reason to call your doctor is if your baby girl has a yeast infection or thrush because it will not go away with an over the counter remedy.

If you believe that it is just a regular rash, which will be the case most of the time, there are many ointment creams available that can be put on your baby's bottom to help heal and prevent diaper rash. My personal favorite is Triple Paste, which is especially for extreme or bleeding cases. It is a little pricier but is well worth it and the stuff lasts forever. Plus, most of the time, the rash is 80-100% gone by the next day depending on the severity of the rash.

Another less expensive one but worth every penny as well is "Butt Paste". We thought it was a funny name so we bought it for a joke but to our suprise, it works miracles!

Regular diaper changes are also very important to keep your baby clean and dry.

If possible, and you get the chance, let your baby run around nude for short periods of time. This can be indoor or outdoor depending on the weather. I would not suggest this in rooms that have indoor carpeting.

Air is always the best remedy to dry out your baby's bottom when they have a rash.
